BIBLE

Now, go to the top of the screen and click on "Ulukau" and go home to the main page:

Now click on "More Books" again, to see this:

At the top it says "Baibala Hemolele (The Hawaiian Bible)". Click on this, and you get:

This is another special feature. If you scroll down, you'll see listed all of the books of the Bible. Under each one it says "Text", "1994", "1868", "1839", and "Expand Contents". For the first book of the Bible, Genesis, click on its "Text" and see this:

This gives all the text for Genesis from the most recent edition of the Bible (1994). Now, along the right side of the screen, click on "1994 View" and see this:

This gives the images for Genesis from the 1994 edition of the Bible. Hit the "x" to close that page, and you are back at the basic page:

Now, on the right side of the screen, click on "1868 View" and see this:

This is the images for Genesis from the major 1868 revision of the Bible. All modern editions are based on this revision. Hit "x" to close that page, and you are back at the basic page:

Now, along the right side of the screen, click on "1839 View" and see this:

This is the images for Genesis from the original 1839 Bible. Hit "x" to close that page, and go back to the basic page:

Now, along the top-left it says "Bible", "Word Search", and "Verse Search". Click on "Verse Search" and you see this:

This is a fairly typical search page, but is designed to search for Bible verses. Type in "Matthew 5" and hit "Enter" and see this:

In other words, it takes you to that chapter in Matthew (the Sermon on the Mount).

On the other hand, if you had typed in just "Matthew", it would take you to the start of the Book of Matthew. If you had put in a chapter and verse, it would take you to that exact verse.

Now, in the top-left where it says "Bible", "Word Search", and "Verse Search", click on "Word Search" and see this:

This is a standard search page. Search for any word in the Bible, just like you would do a search in the other parts of Ulukau. Continue to next section...
